Land ManagerLucy is an Anatolian Shepherd, she is our pest control. She is sweet, gentle and extremely patient. Learns quickly and is incredibly stubborn. This breed has to be stubborn they protect the livestock and have to be stubbrn enough not to back down. In this photo she is only Three months old, Lucy is Nine months old now and before her the Whitetail deer insisted on having their fawns here, coyotes killed them off year after year, I hated that, now with Lucy the Whitetail fawns are getting a real chance to grow up, she watches them and protects them, I've never seen anything like it. I no longer have a coyote problem. She's only nine months old I can't wait to see what the future holds for her, and our horses. Check back for more on this fantastic breed. P.S. Not a city dog, has to have a job to do.
